Matteo Caruso’s passion for New York real estate stems from his deep roots in the city. He was born and raised in Brooklyn, but lived in Italy for a short time when he was young with his family. He picked up the language while living there, and has maintained his conversational speaking abilities. He returned to Brooklyn, where he attended St. Francis College. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Management, with a concentration in finance. Matteo pursued a career in line with his degree, working at Ridgewood Savings Bank as a customer service representative, and then at Ridgewood Financial Services as a licensed insurance agent. He then became a licensed real estate agent in 2013 and worked for Ben Bay Realty, before deciding he wanted to pursue work in the more luxury Manhattan housing market.
With his background in banking and insurance, Matteo is also able to apply his knowledge to the real estate investing process, in order to best serve his clients’ financial needs. In addition to financial advice, he offers a tailored and personalized experience to his buyers, sellers, and renters, and is willing to accommodate a range of needs. Matteo’s associates have complimented his openness and organizational skills, and he has built his referral network based on the recommendations from his clients. He spends much of his time in Tribeca, Soho, Greenwich Village, and West Village, so he has learned what those neighborhoods have to offer to locals. He enjoys fine dining, museums, and participating in exotic and classic car events.
