Matthew Lipsky

Matthew Lipsky joined Leslie J. Garfield & Co. in 2021, working directly under Senior Broker Matthew Pravda.

Originally from Irvington, New York, Matthew attended Iona Preparatory School in New Rochelle, NY before earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Economics from The Morrisey College of Arts and Sciences at Boston College. While at Boston College, Matthew was a member of the Men’s Club Ice Hockey team, volunteer for The Campus School, and spent a summer interning for Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe, a New York City based private equity firm.

After graduating, Matthew worked at a marketing and advertising agency for two years, growing and developing his skills. He managed national and regional campaigns to increase sales and promote brand recognition for clients in the building materials category. While at the agency, he aided in creating a new business group, sourcing and bringing new clients to the agency.

Matthew currently resides in East Village and enjoys spending his free time exploring New York City and spending time with friends and family. He is excited to contribute to Leslie J. Garfield.
