A formidable force in Seattle real estate, Matt’s high energy and his ability to see the big picture have him one step ahead of the game.
Matt grew up in Sitka, Alaska in less-than-average means. When he was a kid, he would transform his family’s house into a hotel room (his mom and brothers were the patrons), and he loved decorating the bunk bed that his uncle built him into his own little hideaway, complete with an 8-track player and Christmas lights. Matt also wanted to be an architect, and all of that has translated to the Matt Miner of today!
Matt first delved into real estate in the early 2000s; his partner at the time-built homes, so Matt got his real estate license so he could help sell them. He found he had a knack for helping design the homes and being able to see things built from the ground up helped him develop an innate sense of what makes a great home.
Over the years, Matt has lived all over King County: Capitol Hill, North Beacon Hill, Queen Anne, University District, Central District, Madison Valley, Downtown Seattle, Belltown, First Hill, Lynnwood, Renton, Bellevue, and Kirkland have all been home at some point.
Fast forward over 15 years: These days, Matt lives in his dream home in North Beacon Hill with his partner Brian (also their team’s handyman!), and he loves decorating and working on his home, boating, entertaining, cooking, and feeding his insatiable appetite for information.
