Matthew Zelko

Matthew grew up in New Jersey along the shore, and in his late 20s, he made the decision to follow some friends to South Florida in search of year-round sun and warmth. It was a decision that checked off both of those boxes, and as soon as he set foot off the plane, he knew this was the place he would call home. The island's carefree atmosphere, charming style of homes, friendly residents, and, of course, its natural beauty and pleasant climate, all captivated him right from the start. He returned to the island many times before finally making the move.

Matthew worked as a bartender at a restaurant on Duval Street for several years, where he got to know many of the fun-loving locals. In this time, he also delved into learning the rich history that Key West has to offer, appreciating the unique architecture and design of homes in the area, and actively participating in the local community. As a homeowner on the island, he has gained valuable insights into what to look for when in search of the right property.
