Maura Callan-Bain

My name is Maura Bain, I am a REALTOR® with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices RW Towne Realty, and I specialize in helping buyers and sellers buy, sell, or invest in real estate in the Tidewater area of Hampton Roads Virginia. This includes Va. Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, Portsmouth, and Suffolk, Virginia. Whether buying as a first-time home-owner, moving up or down, or buying property as an investment call me for help.

In my career as a veterinarian, the care that I brought to my clients and furry patients, I still bring to my real estate clients so I can find just the right home for your situation with care and compassion. Having come from the medical field it is my pleasure to “diagnose” your real estate needs and “prescribe” the correct solution for a WIN-WIN combination.

Growing up as part of a Military family has given me an appreciation and special insight into the financial, logistical, and emotional stress of military families and their moves, and why I love to work with the military. It's my way of giving back to all of their hard work and sacrifice on our country's behalf.

As a resident of Virginia Beach for over, … well for a long time, like most of my life, I am very familiar with the area. Having raised my daughters here, I am also very familiar with the school system. My husband is employed by the U.S. Navy and works at Oceana and Dam Neck, and 5 out of my 7 siblings live and work in Hampton Roads.

I am a member of the Institute for Luxury Home Marketing, and I am a Military Relocation Professional, an Accredited Buyers Agent, and a Certified Investor Agent and have taken training in wholesaling, rehabbing, foreclosures, lease options, as well as, extensive training in internet technology so I can give you the latest and greatest tools for marketing your home to meet your needs in a quickly changing world. To help grow and stay on the cutting edge, I am a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Va. Association of Realtors, the Hampton Roads Realtors Association, the Tidewater Real Estate Investors Group (TRIG), and the Peninsula Real Estate Investor Association (PREIA).

A little about my interests- I love the beach, boogie boarding, surfing, working out, singing, and volunteering for my church, Freedom Fellowship, as well as, Operation Smile, and Joy Ministries. I am a soccer Mom, a track Mom, and a cheer Mom. I am passionate about healthy living, and my faith. I am also an avid reader.

My full name is Maura Callan Bain, and my goal is to be “H2O” to you- Hardworking, Helpful, and hOnest. Oh, and I am also a Hokie, just to throw another “H” at you. I am a double dipper from Va. Tech, having majored in Biochemistry and Veterinary Medicine.
