Meg Whitted is an exceptional realtor. Working with her on a recent sale, we found her expertise in staging the home and negotiating its sale to be key strengths. She was available when needed, contacted us as necessary, but didn't contact us excessively or "for show." She informed us of her travel plans in advance of being awarded the listing and, of course, negotiations were necessary during that timeframe. Instead of punting us off to her backup, Meg consulted with us and worked on negotiations from the airport. Meg could have requested to take both sides of the deal but instead she thought it only fair that I sell the house by owner and she represents the buyer. Truly a class and honorable act. We were in a situation were we needed to sell our house fast to secure another local house that just came on the market. We were not able to do a contingency deal with the sellers of the house we wanted so we called Meg to get her opinion on if it was even possible to get our current house ready and on the market that quickly. Meg was everything we could have asked for in a realtor. When it came time to find a new house, she was beyond patient with us while we tried to figure out exactly what we wanted. She was more than willing to go look at all types of properties (small houses close to town, homes in the country on an acre, move-in ready, total gut jobs, etc.) until we found the house that was just right. For each property, she was able to provide insight as to where upgrades were needed, the estimated return on investment, potential downsides to a property, etc. This really helped us make the right choice in terms of budget, needs vs. wants, and overall investment. From the time we put an offer on the house, through the intense negotiations, to closing, it was a pretty easy process. We used a lot of Meg’s recommended colleagues (inspectors, lawyer, mortgage broker), and everyone worked together seamlessly.
When it came to selling our townhouse, Meg handled it with perfection. She did an initial walk-through, gave us a manageable to-do list and we were on the market in no time. It was just a matter of days before we were in negotiations and then under contract. Again, Meg’s team worked together and closed that deal with ease.
Real Estate can obviously be a hot mess, and extremely stressful. Having the right people, especially a realtor, makes a world of difference. Meg is able to help through the buying and selling process with a great balance of professionalism, directness, patience and understanding. Not that we have any intentions on moving anytime soon, but if we were, we’d call her in a heartbeat!

Meg was a dream to work with! We contacted her because we wanted to work with someone we knew with ties to our local community. She was very responsive, making herself available to us on extremely short notice to see a house. Meg was always patient and gave us as much time and attention as we needed to feel comfortable putting in an offer that was accepted. Her knowledge of the area and the housing market made her expertise and advice invaluable - particularly for a process that took only three days! Once we were under contract and waiting to close, Meg still checked in with us regularly to answer any questions we had, ensuring that we always felt like valued clients. We used meg as our listing agent to sell our home in December. She was dependable and honest and gave us great ideas and feedback about what we needed to do to sell quickly. She worked with us to price the house where we were comfortable. She stirred up excitement with potential buyers by posting a sneak peek video and then printed out beautiful and professional brochures. The house sold in four days at $1000 under asking price and we couldn’t be happier with the whole process. We definitely would recommend Meg to anyone!

Meg showed me the house I currently live in and worked closely by my side throughout the entire buying process. She connected me to a great financing consultant and an attorney, who were both outstanding. I had plans to go on vacation for two weeks and was reluctant to put my old house on the market. Meg urged me to allow her to list it. I gave her a key and off I went! While I was gone she came in, tidied up a bit, had the necessary pictures taken and listed it at a price we agreed upon. Four days later Meg called me with an offer on my house. We countered and ended up selling for 99% of my asking price! Meg is smart, personable and was completely tuned in to my needs as her client.
