Local knowledge:5 Process expertise:5 Responsiveness:5 Negotiation skills:5 We recently worked with Megan on a complicated transaction where a Federal Government employee relocation was involved. As anyone with a good sense of humor will attest to, nothing goes smoothly with governmental involvement. Megan not only handled all the red tape in just getting certified to handle the same if our home, but also was picked after having 3 separate walk through appraisals done on the property (two were within a percentage point of each other...the other was almost 10% off lower for some reason). When needing help locating local contractors for general work, electrician, HVAC, etc., she knew someone who always got back to us immediately when we used her as a reference. They got us to the front of their schedule, did good work and didn't gouge us for it either. She has clearly built a great network of professionals to deal with. Part of a relocation is that you are physically gone while your house is for sale, so all your eggs are in picking the right realtor to rep you and your property. Given that Megan brought us an offer within the first 3 hours the house was on the market ( which was 99% asking price..and in writing with qualified buyer ON the 4th of July), we clearly made the correct choice. We'd also like to point out that she made some suggestions during the initial walk through, that when finished for a few thousand dollars, upped the selling price from initial estimates by $39,000. Clearly Megan has spent the time to learn her market and buyers. So, without any reservations, we would highly recommend Megan both professionally and personally as someone who truly understands that professionalism isn't dead.
