Melanie has been in the real estate business since 2005, first as an investor and referral agent, and now an active Realtor licensed in VA and MD. Previously, she was a Senior Marketer with companies in the IT, Biotech and Professional Services industries, and is fully able to leverage her skills in contract negotiation, vendor management, project management and event planning, honed over 15+ years with companies such as Dell, Hewlett-Packard, Genentech and Grant Thornton, to bring value and ensure successful outcomes for her real estate clients.

She values integrity, accountability and communication and is passionate about helping people leverage home ownership as a cornerstone of wealth building. She listens with empathy, strives to ensure the best outcome in every transaction, and delights to work with buyers and sellers to make their real estate goals a reality.

Melanie graduated from the University of Virginia and resides in the Washington, DC Metro Area with her husband and two children. In her spare time, Melanie enjoys thrill seeking activities, travelling anywhere with a beautiful beach, and reading political action thrillers.
