Melissa Delaney

As an entrepreneur and sales professional for 20+ years, Melissa Delaney is equipped with the skills and expertise needed to successfully guide her clients in their homebuying, selling, and investing. Dedicated and persistent, she has many years of customer service experience, which she draws from to understand her clients’ needs, advise them accordingly, provide 24/7 support, and successfully close the deal.

Prior to her real estate career, Melissa owned and operated several bars and restaurants. During this time, she honed her customer service skills and strengthened the qualities needed as a business owner, managing a large team and overseeing all marketing and corporate events. Before this, Melissa worked in advertising sales for Cosmopolitan, Harper’s Bazaar, and Mademoiselle magazines.

After graduating from Villanova University, Melissa moved to the Upper West Side of Manhattan, where she has lived for over two decades. She is a neighborhood expert, having seen the area develop and evolve since she bought her first apartment there in 2000. She later bought two adjacent units and combined them to create a custom home, and she has served as Vice President of her co-op board for over 10 years. Melissa’s three children attend school on the Upper West Side, where she has served on the executive board of the PTA for seven years. She also serves on the Associate Board of The Irish Repertory Theatre.
