Melissa McCall is a REALTOR® for Living Down South Realty and serves Northeast Georgia and all surrounding communities including Lake Hartwell, Lavonia, Royston, Elberton, Toccoa, Danielsville, Athens, Commerce, Hoschton, Braselton & Western Upstate South Carolina. A lifelong resident of the Lake Hartwell community, Melissa has a solid understanding of the Northeast Georgia real estate market, and the diversity of lifestyles people choose to seek out and live. Prior to her career in real estate, Melissa dedicated 16 years to the music performance and music education industry as a prominent oboist for many symphonies nationwide. Eventually, Melissa settled in and accepted a position as a choral, piano, and general music teacher in the Hart County Georgia School System. A graduate of Columbus State University and Piedmont College, Melissa graduated as a Woodruff Scholar and obtained her Masters and Education Specialist degrees while teaching full time, raising 5 beautiful babies, and running a successful part time business in health and wellness. Combining her sales, persistence, local market experience, and outstanding communication skills with her education and business acumen, Melissa is a winning choice for anyone seeking the services of a professional real estate consultant. When not selling real estate, Melissa and her husband Levon, can be found traveling to visit friends and family, working on rehab housing projects, or cooking out with their 5 children, Yuri age 12, Noah age 11, Selah age 10, Titus age 8, and Micah age 6. Melissa enjoys listening to their kids create and perform their own music around the house. In her free time, Melissa can be found relaxing at the lake reading a good book or listening to inspirational podcasts.
