Melissa McGuire sold us our house in OR after working with us for well over a year when we decided to move from CA to OR. Doing the search long distance wasn’t easy, but Melissa worked with our schedule and must have shown us more than a hundred homes over that time. She knew the area so well and educated us through the entire process. Melissa was so positive and so dedicated to finding us the right place! All of her expertise and experience in the real estate market and Eugene in general convinced us that we indeed had the right real estate agent! We, of course, kept up with Melissa over the years we lived in OR and when the time came to sell my home after my husband’s death, she was my only choice for a real estate agent. Melissa’s professionalism and organizational skills are unparalleled. She is also very well-connected in the community and could find skilled workers to do things that needed to be done and could find places to get rid of things I no longer planned to take with me, even helping to pack up stuff to meet schedules! When it was time for showing the house, it was truly ready thanks to Melissa! As I was moving from OR to the east coast and had to leave before closing, Melissa took care of everything regarding the sale and closing. She kept me informed every step of the way. While I had a good real estate agent for my house on the east coast, I still talked to Melissa about my choices because I knew she would give me really good advice! You can’t go wrong with Melissa McGuire as your real estate agent! She is the best!

Melissa's expertise; attention to detail and suggestions were vital to us in getting the condominium that we wanted. When we saw that it had come on the market Melissa arranged for us to see it immediately. Another couple looked at it on the same day but Melissa gave us valuable advice that we believe resulted in the seller choosing to accept our offer and she efficiently handled every aspect of the sale. If and when it ever comes time to sell our home Melissa is the agent we would chose.

Melissa is the BEST! Melissa helped us buy a rowhouse unit in Eugene and then sell it 10 years later. She has special qualities that make her the consummate realtor. Here are a few.
1) She knows the market and she knows construction. This helped greatly with our initial bid and then pricing and timing when to sell later.
2) She is a superb project manager. We lived out of the country when we purchased the unit and out of state at the time of sale. She managed a lot of the needed updates with efficiency AND attention to detail. She has a lot of contacts in the area - they seem to have a lot of respect for her - and dealt with them so that there were no hiccups.
3) She is serene and unflappable. Lots of emotions arise in a real estate transaction, even if it's not your primary residence. She delivers news/options/etc. with a forthright though warm clarity.
4) Her high degree of professionalism doesn't hide her sincere concern for her clients' welfare. I felt gently and warmly guided through all the facets of the purchase and sale. We never felt rushed and were confident that our goals drove her decisions and actions on our behalf.
