We were tasked with selling my parents’ home—which had fallen into disrepair—and finding them a new place to live just before the holidays. Melissa didn’t just handle a transaction; she navigated the roadmap of our family’s emotions with a level of empathy and grace that is rare to find.
Melissa managed to secure top dollar for the original property without even going to market, saving us immense stress and preparation. What truly blew us away, however, was her dedication to my parents’ future. Because of specific community guidelines and purchasing policies, Melissa couldn't officially act as our agent on their new home purchase. Despite having "no skin in the game," she chose to educate and guide me through that entire process anyway. Her integrity and commitment to our well-being outweighed any commission.

Working with Melissa as our realtor in Albuquerque has been nothing short of life-changing. We were relocating from South Carolina to New Mexico while also trying to sell my mom’s home here, and the stress felt endless. But Melissa was our constant. Despite being in an entirely different state, she checked in regularly, supported us through every obstacle, and made us feel like we were never navigating any of this alone.

When we suddenly found a home in Albuquerque at the very last minute, I texted her at 3 AM just hoping for help the next day. Within hours, she had secured a showing, FaceTimed us through every inch of the property, and was already in communication with the listing agent. The home was pending, yet somehow, through her determination, strategy, and pure dedication, she helped us secure it anyway. She coordinated every detail, kept the process moving at lightning speed, and handled the transition with a level of care that is truly rare.

Melissa doesn’t treat her clients like clients; she treats them like family. I genuinely cannot explain just how far “above and beyond” she goes… it’s on a level most people only talk about but never actually deliver. She is a single mom who hustles harder than anyone I’ve ever met, and her heart shows in the way she takes care of the people she works with.

Because of her, what should’ve been an overwhelming move became manageable, hopeful, and even exciting. We’ll absolutely be working with her again for our next property, and I recommend her with my whole heart to anyone looking for a realtor who is as dedicated as she is compassionate. Melissa is exceptional, and we are truly grateful for everything she’s done.

I am so happy that we worked with Melissa while finding our first home purchase! From the beginning Melissa made herself available through call, text, email, and in-person meetings. We had a very competitive budget and Melissa was still able to help us find the home in a very reasonable amount of time. The house we chose needed some repairs which she helped negotiate for the seller to perform. She also helped us with seller concessions which we used to buy down our interest rate. We had a few unexpected issues that arose and Melissa was able to work behind the scenes, day and night, to help them get them resolved. She don't just say and act like she care but she really does...but that's not all. Melissa responded twice the first day, again the second, and without being annoying or a stalker, gently once a week after that for a few weeks. Guess who my realtor in Albuquerque is? If we buy another home or sell our house we would definitely use Melissa again as our realtor. Honestly I was kind of scrolling and since My husband and I were really wanting to get a home instead of renewing our lease I started to see Melissa pop up on every group I was in. I got to see what I kind human being she was and that she was caring for others that’s when I decided to reach out to her and ask her for some advice. I was really worried last year my husband suffered a horrible car accident got hit by a guy racing his car on Louisiana St in front of his job. My husband was just leaving his work, but he never made it home. It was one of the worst times of my life. He was on disability for about 6 months. But she recommended a great mortgagee and they walked me thru the whole process and we were able to buy our dream home. Melissa was able to work out some seller credit and she recommended First time home buyers assistants program to help with our down payment. Also got our earnest money back. When we ran into in obstacle on short time with our seller credit for repairs She helped me on getting quotes for repairs and flooring to make my experience less stressful. Melissa was always available to answer our questions and help us in every step. I hope she gets licensed in Texas. 😊
