Hello! :) For those of you who don’t know me my name is Melissa Rebollo! I am so excited you found my profile and I just wanted to take a quick second to introduce myself. Hopefully this will help you get to know me just a little better!
Before I made it to beautiful Minnesota just over 7 years ago, I was born and raised in warm, sunny south Florida. Sometimes I still questions what I was thinking going from 2 completely different climates but I couldn’t be happier that I was able to move here. These last 7 years have been filled with adventure, opportunity, new experiences, and tons of fun!
One of my favorite things has been getting involved in the community up here. There are so many activities, events and organizations to get involved with. A few of my favorite things to do have to be going to the Nisswa city of lights, all of the farmers markets, and the fireworks in Brainerd on the 4th (seriously, I’ve never seen such an amazing display on the 4th). One thing that I am so thankful I became a part of is the Brainerd Area Lakers Special Olympics team. I have been a coach now for about two and a half years and it has been awesome. Although, I don’t know about this Polar Plunge thing, it’s a bit cold for this FL girl. The first year I was naive and thought, ehh how bad can it be. The second year I knew how cold it was and questioned my decision the whole time until jumping again. But it is always worth it!
Since moving to the Brainerd Lakes Area, over 3 years ago now, I had the opportunity to become a REALTOR ®. The best part about this job has been meeting such amazing people, and not only being able to help them find their home, but making new friends along the way. It is the best feeling when you get to call someone your friend and not a “client” after helping them buy or sell their home.
This job, like any other, comes with challenges but it has always been worth it. I love being able to help people navigate through the process of buying/selling their home. Whether it is a first time home buyer or seller, or someone who has bought and sold several times there is always something that comes up. It might be something minor, but I love the challenge of figuring out how to navigate the process while keeping my clients needs top of mind. One thing I have learned is you will never stop learning and you always have to be creative in this field. Each person and situation is so different from the last you always have to be on your toes!
Alright, I think that is enough blabbering about myself. Hopefully you got to know me a little bit better by reading this. Now I’m throwing out a challenge to you.
