MELODY YIP

Melody enjoys practicing real estate in Oakland and its surrounding areas (Alameda, Berkeley, Kensington, El Cerrito, Richmond). She calls Alameda her home and is a strong advocate for living in the East Bay for its lovely attributes: sunny weather, diversity, culture, and abundance of historical spaces.

She began her career in real estate in 2015 after working in sales operations at LinkedIn and financial auditing. Melody leads a life of curiosity, which is critical to understanding her clients' individual needs. Each client, situation, and home is unique. She strives to make the path to the finish line as smooth as possible by staying ahead of communication and finding solutions to challenges. She seeks to bring quality, integrity, and arduous work to every transaction she is involved with.

Outside of working in real estate, Melody enjoys running, absorbing all things food and design related, bingeing on podcasts and documentaries, and dreaming about her next adventure abroad. Each experience, each bite, and each discovery makes her feel connected to the world. In 2018, she became a proud mentor at the East Bay College Fund, which supports the Oakland Promise.
