Meredith Hotz

Meet Meredith Hotz. She's a Broker associate who lives and works in the south Denver suburbs and and downtown. She's a member of The Hotz Group with veteran Broker Larry Hotz and her sister Elizabeth.

City and Denver Suburbs Realtor. While her family has been selling luxury homes since 1978, Meredith concentrates on first time home buyers. She's been helping her buyers purchase homes in the range under $400,000 which has been very competitive.

"I've had to submit multiple offers for clients because often we are competing with up to 12 other offers." Meredith explains. "I've found communication with the listing broker is the key. Sometimes, we have even been able to be the winning offer without being the highest price. Of course, it doesn't hurt that the Hotz name is well known among Denver real estate brokers".

Denver MLS Search"Searching the MLS alone is not the best way to find new listings. National portals like Zillow have many old listings that are not even still for sale. However, All Denver Real Estate offers all current listings and its actually updated with new listings for sale every 15 minutes. Plus, I can sometimes find listings to show that aren't even in the Denver MLS through my office and broker connections."

Lives in Denver Suburbs
First time buyers real estate agent, Meredith purchased her first home in southern suburb of Aurora in 2013 with husband, Calan. Most people don't even know that southern Aurora in the top-rated Cherry Creek School District and offers an easy commute the the Denver Tech Center where Meredith works at the Kentwood Company.

But, Meredith has found that southern Aurora is popular with folks moving to Denver. Relocation often involves finding a great school district with affordable homes.

While she highly recommends and loves South Aurora, she and Calan recently moved up to a larger home in Highlands Ranch, another popular Denver suburb.

"We never could have afforded this home in Highlands Ranch if we hadn't first bought the South Aurora home." Meredith explains. "The equity from the old house literally bought us a part of our new home in just 3 years. You've got to start somewhere with home ownership!"

Meredith grew up in a real estate family. Both her Dad and Uncle have been Denver Realtor's since she can remember. And, sister Elizabeth has been selling homes since 2005.

"I guess it's in my blood", says Meredith. "I love going out of my way to help people. I am passionate about helping my clients get the best home and the best possible price. I've been watching my Dad do that since I was born. Maybe got the real estate bug by osmosis!"

In her spare time, Meredith loves traveling, camping and helping to host Charity Events. She's been very involved in Families First since high school. Meredith graduated from Colorado State University and Cherry Creek High School. She's a member of the Colorado Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors as well as the Metro Denver Association of Realtors.
