Raised in Tangipahoa Parish and rooted in the New Orleans metropolitan area, Merri Schneider has established connections with communities throughout Southeast Louisiana. As the first female business manager at the generations-old P&J Oyster Company in the historic French Quarter, she utilized her capable and kind demeanor to connect with restauranteurs and neighborhood regulars alike for nearly two decades. Upon her return to Hammond in 2006 to restore a family home, Merri shifted her focus to the most important connections in her life: her family and friends.
