Merrick is a proud lifelong Western Washington resident. Born in Edmonds and raised in North Everett, he graduated from Washington State University, where he played lacrosse, with a degree in Entrepreneurship from the Carson College of Business. He began his real estate career in 2018, joining Windermere right away, and has worked full-time in the industry ever since. Merrick and his wife, Kelsey, live in Lynnwood, where they’ve loved getting plugged into the community. They welcomed their first son, Miller, in 2024.
Merrick serves clients throughout Snohomish County and North King County, though he’ll go wherever his clients need him. He values strong communication, a hands-on approach, and going above & beyond to ensure his clients feel confident throughout the entire process. Along with helping people buy and sell homes, Merrick has personal experience owning and managing investment properties, including a duplex in Everett, and he enjoys helping clients explore the world of real estate investing.
Community has always played an important role in Merrick’s life. He previously volunteered with Young Life and the 17th Ave House, and today he is actively involved at Reach Church, where he supports his wife in leading the 20s & 30s ministry. Being part of Windermere has also strengthened his passion for service through the Windermere Foundation and Community Service Day.
Outside of work, Merrick and Kelsey love skiing and snowboarding in the winter, and traveling during the summer with a goal of visiting a new country every year. Merrick is a dedicated Washington State University fan, and he also cheers loudly for the Seahawks and Mariners. He has been a Seattle Kraken season-ticket holder since the team’s inaugural season. When he’s not at a game or on the mountain, you can usually find him hiking one of the many trails around Western Washington.
