About Merrily

Merrily Thompson has been a resident of Montgomery since 1983 when she and her husband moved here to raise their family in a hometown environment. Her two children attended Montgomery schools throughout their primary education.
Until 2010, Merrily and her husband owned and operated Glenlar Homes, Inc., a custom home building construction company. For over 30 years she handled construction coordination for their projects, in addition to negotiations, scheduling, budget reporting and management. Her keen eye for design and functionality was a valuable resource for clientele as she worked to achieve their goals. She and her husband built many beautiful homes and long lasting relationships.
Merrily continued selectively building custom homes and occasional remodeling projects as president of Glenlar Homes, Inc. until closing the corporation in early 2024, to focus exclusively on real estate. She brings her knowledge from the building industry to her real estate career. Her experience and understanding of the many facets residential and commercial structures are comprised of remains an asset her clients appreciate.
Merrily is also familiar with farm and ranch properties as she has lived rurally for over 30 years in Montgomery raising horses and cattle along with managing agricultural production of hay.
Striving to achieve excellence, building lasting relationships, and focus on customer service and client satisfaction remain her primary objectives.
