Micah Branson

I am proud to be affiliated with Old Dominion Realty, the longest running privately owned real estate firm in the Harrisonburg/Rockingham area. I have been fortunate enough to be immersed in the family-oriented culture of ODR my entire life. My grandfather, Clyde Pugh, started ODR in Bridgewater from his home in 1962. Currently, ODR employs over 90 sales associates and support staff in 5 offices covering Virginia and West Virginia.

I graduated from Turner Ashby High School and went to Virginia Tech where I obtained a double major in Animal and Poultry Sciences and Agricultural and Applied Economics with a minor in Real Estate. Through school I worked on several farms and completed internships locally with George’s Chicken and the Farm Service Agency as a Farm Loan Programs Intern. These experiences were all stepping stones to build a broad knowledge and network base.

I joined ODR in June 2006 as a Realtor and also work for Colonial Appraisal Service as a Certified Residential Appraiser, licensed in 2011. I have worked on numerous residential, agricultural and commercial assignments adding an invaluable knowledge base in the real estate market.

While serving as a graduate assistant softball coach at Eastern Mennonite University I was able to complete Masters Degree in Business Administration in 2010.

I chose real estate to be involved in my family’s business.
