It is not because he was the “Rookie of the Year” when he became a realtor or he is one of the top realtors in Hampton Road. If someone told me six months ago that I would be buying a house I had never set foot in on another continent I would have immediately lost consciousness. I put my trust in Micah after getting a couple personal recommendations, and he has literally been a hero. He bent over backwards to accommodate my crazy timeline changing duty stations from Germany to Virginia, VA loan questions, was an expert in the neighborhoods, and gave much needed advice and reassurance to a first time buyer/long time knucklehead. He gladly went above and beyond with recommendations for plumbers, electricians, contractors, flooring guys, and just saw about everything I needed. As far as reviews go, Micah is the guy. If I needed a minor surgery I’d probably let him take a whack at it. Call this man for stuff you need, and if you want to hear it from me personally then come by my house that he helped me buy. If I could give 10 stars, I'd add a million more! Micah has been nothing short of absolutely amazing—I'm not exaggerating!

A little about me: I'm a high-maintenance, bougie, indecisive woman who thinks she knows what she wants, only to send a new list of homes that don't fit the original wish list the next minute.

Micah worked with me for over five months as I transitioned from Japan with three young children, preparing to return to the States after 3.5 years, with no car and no home.

Despite the time zone difference, Micah woke up early and stayed up late to respond to my messages. When I felt defeated, Micah reminded me to have faith.

Even though this wasn't my first time buying a home, I had countless questions, from basic to extremely difficult. Micah answered all of them with ease and explained everything in layman's terms. He works with an intelligent and kind team—SHOUT OUT to Kyle from Newrez!!!

My previous realtor excused herself after a week of being unresponsive, which turned out to be the best decision ever.

Micah was an absolute class act! We first contacted him in 2020 and after deciding the timing was off for our family he continued to check in and follow up with us, without being pushy! In 2023 we decided to follow through and build our dream home!

I cannot overstate the ease felt by my husband and I and the expertise executed by Micah Lee in helping us secure a home we love. We are a dual-military couple and had extremely limited time to see our favorite listings before our cross-country move. Micah started off by getting to know what was important to us in order to get us premier listings accordingly. He kept some truly amazing listings coming in the weeks before our trip to see them.
When we were able to travel to VA to get a look at our favorites, Micah had the whole day mapped out to maximize our choices. Micah was quick to point out hazards and issues which could present long-term expenses so that we didn’t waste time on any duds.
We fell in love with one of his listings and had to pursue a competitive offer to combat 4 other bids. Had we not had Micah in our corner, I’m confident that we would have either overpaid, or worse yet, lost out on the house and returned to the west coast empty-handed. We saw the house on Saturday, made an offer on Sunday, and had an accepted offer on Monday! This guy knows all the ins & outs. Buying a home in VA from CA under military orders truly takes a village but Micah has contacts for EVERYTHING and EVERYONE! 1. He explained zillow and their prices and the difference between an actual assessment and was straight forward with expectations.
2. There wasn't any, "what I would do," talk which I appreciated, but solid and grounded advice.
3. It was the at the back and forth stage for repairs and what not and I think Micah was going on vacation and I figured we would just pick this up when he was back...boy I was so wrong. Micah was the best thing that could of happened to me in my house hunting process. From the very beginning he made the seemingly daunting process of buying a house easy to understand and simple. Once he set up my house search criteria on the MLS (allowing me to see houses the first day they appear on the market) it was smooth sailing from there. We walked through five houses and in every house Micah was extremely thorough in his search for anything that could potentially cause problems for a home owner. Micah is without a doubt the best realtor in the Hampton Roads area! He was fully onboard on finding a home for us. We were only able to fly in for a weekend, and he had all the houses available for us to see in an organized manner. He allowed us to make decisions and narrow the field down. He was also honest with our expectations throughout the process. Once we picked a home, he went to bat for us in the negotiations. With the contract approved, he continued with us keeping us updated on every step as we headed towards closing.
