Michael Chou

I was born in 1972 in Taiwan and my family eventually immigrated to the US. Initially we moved around the country and stayed with our families, from Woodland Hills, CA to Garden City, NY. We eventually settle down in Charleston, SC and that is where I grew up. I am fluent in English and proficient in Taiwanese Mandarin.
I moved to Bluffton, SC in 1998 and started a career in Medical Management and rising to a director level position and decided to seek other career adventures after 25 years. I selected Real Estate Sales as my 2nd career as I have a solid background in negotiating both leases and purchases of multiple multi-million-dollar Real Estate both in commercial medical offices and historic multi-unit residential investment properties. I also have extensive experience working with engineers, architects and interior designers in managing medical office constructions.
I was elected to serve as the president of the state professional society 4 separate times over my career totaling 7 years and I also served as president of two Hilton Head / Bluffton area commercial POAs for 4 years. I am currently an accredited Real Estate Negotiation Expert and have continued my education in Real Estate business by qualifying for Accredited Buyer Representative and Seller Representation Specialists accreditation. I am currently a member of the National Realtors Association®, South Carolina Realtors® and Hilton Head Area Realtors Association®.
I am currently on the Social Committee in my neighborhood and part of the Bourbon Club. In my free time I like to travel domestically and internationally, RV camping, ocean cruising, attend Savannah Bananas games and I am also an automobile enthusiast and have had the opportunity to have owned multiple fun cars and driven Tail of the Dragon & Cherohala Skyway in them.
