I was born near Valley Forge Pennsylvania and raised in Southern California and Japan. I attended San Diego State University, studying Anthropology and later attended Broadcasting school which led to a career on the radio after relocating to New York. The Capital Region has been my home for more than 20 years. I've lived in Delmar, Guilderland, Albany and currently in Slingerlands. (I understand the relocation process well.) In my free time I enjoy relaxing with family, going to the gym, home improvement projects in our 1800's Gothic Victorian, fixing bicycles in my workshop and being outdoors. I work throughout the Capital District, based out of our Empire Office. My wife, Kim Gismervik and I, between us, have 7 children, 10 grandchildren and 2 feisty pups.
