Michael Hensley

I served my country in the United States Army with 3/75 Ranger Regiment and 2 of our sons are actively serving in the Army. The experiences I gained taught me teamwork, discipline, a commitment to work hard, and the ability to listen and follow through. I hunt, fish, hike, camp, target practice and am also a member of the local private shooting range. Yes I have made the commute to Portland for 25+ years while working in robotics/automation in the semiconductor industry at Intel. We moved to Cowlitz county as it is affordable and allowed our money to go a lot further when buying. Community is everything, and I take pride in giving back to my community by serving as Vice President and a Veterans Service Officer at the Veteran Service Center in Longview, volunteering my time as American Legion Baseball Post 155 liaison, coaching in the Kelso Youth and Babe Ruth program for over 15 years and I volunteer at St. Rose Catholic School where my wife is a teacher. I am very familiar with all local youth sports as my kids played football, softball, wrestling, basketball, baseball and my wife and I played co-ed softball in Longview and we play pickleball in Longview as well. Our kids have attended Kelso High School, Butler Acres, Coweeman, Rose Valley school, Three Rivers Christian and St Rose.

Aside from all of this, I am a husband, a father and a grandfather... Nothing means more to me than family & friends and working with clients that become like family.
