Michael Holmes

Mike was raised in Piermont, NY, with two siblings and a picturesque view of the Hudson River. He’s now married to Tara, who grew up across the river in Pleasantville, and together, they have a new son, Luke. After spending a decade in Westchester, they returned to Piermont in Rockland County. Following his retirement as an NYPD Lieutenant, Mike transitioned into the real estate industry. He co-founded and managed a licensed home contracting company with his brother Eric, focusing on general home repairs and renovations, particularly kitchens and bathrooms. They even acquired specialized training in designing and installing custom concrete countertops. This extensive experience has provided Mike with a well-rounded skill set for his real estate career.Mike is with HomeSmart Homes and Estates, working on both sides of the Tappan Zee Bridge in Westchester and Rockland Counties. He has a deep connection to the Rivertowns along the Hudson River and enjoys working with a diverse range of clients. When not involved in real estate, Mike treasures his time with his wife, Tara, an Emergency Medicine physician at Mt. Sinai in NYC. Tara is also a licensed Realtor with HomeSmart Homes and Estates.
