About Michael
Mike Kelley has lived in Summit County since 1988 and is proud to be a Colorado native! He was born in Denver and while he may have learned to talk in Oklahoma & Texas he will always remind you that he learned to walk in the Great State of Colorado. Mike finished his academic career in Texas where he perfected his strong southern drawl. Mike's mom grew up in Pueblo, Colorado and those Colorado ties always brought him back here his entire life, exploring the mountains, fishing and 4 wheel driving. Mike and his wife, Moraima moved to Summit County, Colorado in 1988 as newlyweds. They fell in love with both each other and Summit County. Mike will tell you that Summit County and it's active lifestyle was an Awesome place to raise their three daughters. Tara Dye, their oldest daughter is a school teacher at Summit Cove Elementary in Dillon. Their middle daughter Mia is a commercial realtor in Denver. Their youngest, Sierra, is attending Colorado Mountain College. When Mike moved here he was already an avid skier but now spends more days snowboarding than skiing. He says he likes the comfort of snow board boots better than his ski boots plus he could not let his daughters be better at any sport than him. When he is not rippin' the shred stick or elk hunting you might find him hiking or snowshoeing in the back-country with his Alaskan Malamute, Hank. Since Mike has lived in Summit County for a little over 3 decades he knows the community as well as the surrounding land and mountains like the back of his hand. His familiarity of Summit County combined with his 30 plus years of networking makes him the perfect realtor to sell your house or help you find that special ski home or ranch property in Colorado’s high country. Mike and his wife, Moraima or “Mo” Kelley, are a team. Call the Kelley Real Estate Team today at (970) 389-1239 and let Mike & Mo help you find your special Summit County home or provide you with a free market analysis of your property’s value!
