Mike Severin and the The Ashburn Team are quintessential professionals. Working against a tight timeline to move into the Northern Virginia area, in a highly competitive low inventory market, Mike worked with us on multiple properties and changing variables. Mike went out of his way, picking us up straight from the airport and visiting properties late into the evenings, in order for us to have the best possible shot at getting what we were looking for.

Mike was responsive, patient, and always willing to provide an unvarnished view of whatever he thought we needed to know. Naturally, we ended up getting a beautiful house, on schedule, and as a testament to his team, closed within a month with not a single deadline or document having to be reworked.

My husband and I have bought and sold four homes in Loudoun County over the last 40 years, and our recent home sale with Mike was by far the smoothest and most profitable. Mike has been a Loudoun realtor for more than 20 years, and his experience and knowledge of the local market were evident. We knew that we needed to complete a number of upgrades to our 25-year-old home prior to listing it; Mike’s past experience in home construction was invaluable to us in planning for these updates, plus he gave personal recommendations for excellent contractors to perform the work. Selling a home during a pandemic was worrisome for us, but we were reassured by the safety protocols Mike established for the home showings. Actually, we were put at ease in every step of the process, thanks to Mike’s calm demeanor and attention to every detail.

Our home was listed on a Thursday, was shown around 40 times, and we accepted an offer well over the listing price by the following Saturday. All told, we received nine offers! Our success was a testament to Mike’s expertise, professionalism, and hard work. He made himself available to us whenever we had a question or concern, even offering to help spread mulch when we got in a time crunch in readying the house for the market.
