Judy was great at every step of our home buying process. I called her from out of state and said we would be in the Greenville area in about a month to look for a home. She sent us listing of homes in our price bracket so we had a current view of the market. When we got to SC, Judy met with us and we spent hours looking at listings that met our criteria. That afternoon, my wife and I drove by 17 homes that we had liked at Judy’s office and narrowed the home’s down to 4 that we liked. Judy scheduled appointments for the following day. We put in an offer of less than asking price, at Judy’s recommendation, that was accepted. Judy then worked with everyone to get us closed in just two weeks! We couldn’t ask for a better realtor and person!

When God called my wife and I to move back to upstate SC, the first thing we did was search for Dave Ramsey real estate ELP's. What we needed was an agent who would encourage us to finish strong on our extended baby step 3b journey and finally buy our first home while living in another state. My wife was pleased to find that her friend Michelle Gleed was a Ramsey trusted ELP serving upstate SC because my wife knew the Gleed family throughout her childhood, and knew Michelle in particular to be a faithful Christian. Following the baby steps as a family can present some unique challenges when it comes to real estate, especially for first-time home buyers i.e. a nill credit score and conservative financing goals on a 15 yr fixed rate traditional mortgage. Add to the equation competing remotely against very strong buyers in a red-hot seller's market with limited inventory, I knew that the search was going to require hard work from all of us. Michelle was a great guide helping us to evaluate our options, and as we hoped, she brought us to the finish line of baby step 3b when we closed on our townhome. We closed ahead of schedule so that we could move in before Christmas.

Michelle understands the values we share with Dave Ramsey. She has walked the baby steps herself and serves her customers according to those same values. She was a refreshing and encouraging person to have on our team during a season of life that felt heavy with the prospect of being first-time buyers while facing unexpected circumstances of life that had us looking for new jobs, a new state, and with that a new home and new church. I believe God led us to our wonderful home, and He did so by first leading us to a superb agent in Michelle Gleed.

For any question or concerns she was looking for answers with best deals right away . She was always easy to get hold of, you don’t need to wait too long for her reply. Michelle is an excellent agent and a wonderful person. She helped my wife and I close on, what turned out to be, a very difficult home to buy. She was very professional and personable from the moment we met her, and when things got difficult, she stayed right there in the boat with us and manned the oars. The sellers of our new home had a date they had to close by and we were running pretty tight to that deadline... and with about two weeks to close, the property required a survey to group all of the parcels into one tax map ID. Michelle called in a favor from a friend and then personally delivered all the necessary documents to the departments that required them to get the survey done in about a week as opposed to the three weeks it would normally take. She truly goes above and beyond to make your experience as pleasant as possible. She's responsive and seemingly always accessible. Anytime we had a question, she was always just a phone call away; and if she was unavailable, we still heard back from her within the hour. In today's world of emails, text messaging, and automated responses, it truly was a pleasure to work with someone who cares about the quality of the experience, and not just getting the job done. Working with Michelle felt like having an experienced friend helping us through a tedious process more so than hiring a company to close a deal. Anyone looking to buy or sell their home would be very fortunate to work with her. She really is one in a million!

Michelle went above and beyond and exceeded all of our expectations. I was upfront with her and said I’m kinda picky and ask a lot of questions and she never made me feel bad about it. She always responded to our texts even if it was to say “I’m busy but I will get back to you” And that means a lot to me.

She was very honest with us in our expectations for selling as well and guided us through our first sale.

I would recommend her over and over, especially if you want a realtor with good honest Christian beliefs and lives by them!
