Michelle has happily spent her entire life in Waynesville. As a native of Haywood County, she has extensive knowledge of the distinctive characteristics of Western North Carolina. After earning an A.S. in Business Administration and an A.S. in Accounting from Haywood Community College, Michelle spent two years in the banking industry and then had the opportunity to own and operate a local bridal and formal wear store for three years. Michelle credits these different experiences in giving her the ability to understand the diverse needs and differing interests of the buyers and sellers she works with.

Michelle is an active member of the Haywood County Board of REALTORS®, where she spent four years as both a Director and Treasurer, and also a member of the Chamber of Commerce and Haywood County’s Young Professionals.

To balance her life, Michelle takes joy in all these mountains have to offer, spending time with family and friends, hiking, growing and preserving vegetables, shopping and dining in downtown Waynesville, and most of all, playing with her three Boxers, Roxy, Tsali, and Barkley. She also loves to travel and see new places, but she always loves coming back home to the mountains!
