About Mike

I am a 1995 graduate of the United States Air Force Academy with a degree in Business Management and a Master Degree in Emergency and Disaster Management. I proudly served in the Air Force for over 20 years as an officer and F-16 pilot and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel in 2015. As a fighter pilot, I lived out my childhood dream of flying fighter jets and, more importantly, learned invaluable lessons in leading high-performance teams to success. At my core, I believe in doing the right thing, the right way… all the time. I take this same approach to my career in real estate by always putting the client’s needs first and doing everything I can to make the real estate buying and selling experience as smooth as possible.
Buying and selling real estate can be a stressful process. In order to relieve some of that stress, my promise to all my clients is that good communication will be at the center of our relationship. I believe that this is critical to the success of any team. From that starting point, I feel that working together towards your real estate goals becomes much easier. In addition to good communication, I strive to always listen to the client’s needs and goals, and then create a plan to achieve them. I will use my extensive knowledge of the Lake Norman area, including neighborhoods, schools, and community amenities to help you find your perfect property.
I am a devoted husband and father of two teenage children. After 10 military relocations, my wife and I moved to Mooresville in 2015 for our final move where we decided to settle down permanently to enjoy the lake life on Lake Norman. We love everything about North Carolina, including the four seasons and the many outdoor activities in close proximity. When I'm not at the pool watching our kids’ swim meets, I enjoy fishing, golfing, snow skiing, and spending time on the lake with family and friends.
I have spent a career in high pressure situations and have learned to handle them all with ease. I will use this same “calm under pressure” personality in the real estate business to help you successfully navigate your real estate journey!
