Mike thoroughly reviewed and explained all provisions and details of the real estate documents. He was able to translate the terms into relatable language. I've never had an agent spend this much time reviewing the documents with me. It put me at ease that I was working with the correct real estate agent for my needs.

My family has worked with Mike Gassaway on a number of real estate deals here in San Diego. Throughout each journey, Mike has been patient, sensitive to our specific needs, and a fierce advocate for our interests. He is the consummate professional and a longtime veteran of this competitive and complicated market. He misses no detail and scrutinizes things both from seller and buyer side. I'd like to think that, after working together for a couple years, we've made a family friend in Mike—his attitude, energy, and care certainly warrant it. Mike was already a friend of mine prior to the experience. However he really impressed me from a professional standpoint as well as being a friend. He really has profound knowledge of not only the area around San Diego, but also all of the ins and outs of real estate that I had no notion of. He guided me very closely all the way through the process. He shared his professional opinion, but left decisions up to me. And I was able to make those decisions because of his expert guidance. He is very professional and I would recommend him to anyone in the San Diego area that may be looking for a house to purchase or has one to put on the market.

Mike has successfully assisted members of my family in real estate transactions for approximately 15 years. This is the first time I personally used Mike to sell a property, but I've made real estate transactions periodically in San Diego since 1985.
Working with Mike was a pleasure from our first meeting to the close of escrow. He came in with ideas, comps, and thoroughly answered my questions, explained the current market, and the anticipated sales process based on my property. I knew Mike was a true partner from preparing my unit for sale to the close of escrow. He carefully listened to my ideas and always had suggestions based on his experience.
His knowledge of the market and personal experience with lenders, escrow companies, and area realtors gave me confidence throughout the process. He responded to any questions, concerns, texts and phone calls immediately. He was truly present throughout. He proved himself over and over again, relieving me of uncertainty and stress.

I decided to search for my first home. Having no experience in home buying, It was crucial to find the perfect agent to guide me through the process. Mike was exactly the agent I needed. From our first meeting, Mike came across as very sincere, organized, and committed to helping me find a home. He was very professional and easy to work with, and took the time to answer all my questions (that were many!) and guide me through all the process.

Not only does he have your best interests in mind, but he is very accommodating. We met to view properties that I was interested fairly quick, the same day or within a day. Also, he was easily accessible, answering emails and phone calls promptly and often late into the night. From finding a condo, to making an offer, then working through negotiations and inspections and finally receiving the keys to my first home, Mike was right there to guide me through each step. If someone asked me to recommend them a buyer's agent, I would recommend Mike without thinking twice about it. And if I ever need to buy again in San Diego, I will call him right away.
