Mischa was referred to us by someone from our kids' school and my wife and I could not be more thankful. We were complete novices about all things real estate when we got into this and Mischa was amazing every step of the way. In my opinion, Mischa is what every home buyer wants and needs. She educates you on the industry and makes sure you understand what is going on. She always seems to think of things that you would otherwise not think of. She is sensitive to a buyer's situation, but pushes you when you need it. She is a master at reading and dealing with all types of personalities.

When Mischa gives you her opinion, you should take it, otherwise you will most definitely say later on that we should have listened to Mischa, because she was a 100% correct.

The current market is incredibly difficult, but when things got harder, Mischa's support for us grew. She worked extra hard to make sure we stayed on track. In the end, she helped us find a house we love and there is no way that could have happened without her. We are receiving our keys today, but that's not where it stops for Mischa. She has already set us up with a referral to help us upgrade something in our home before we move in. Mischa seems has a contact for pretty much everything. I know we'll stay in touch with her and use her for any real estate needs in the future. If you need a quality all-around real estate agent in the East Bay, look no further, Mischa is the best.

We met a parent from our kid's school who just randomly brought up his house buying experience in conversation. We expressed some vague interest in eventually buying a house so he gave us his realtor's number and highly recommended her. About 2 months later, we got notice that the home we had lived in for 8 years was being taken off the rental market. It was an extremely emotional, scary time for us. So we called Mischa and I'm so glad we did! We worked with her for about 6 months in a whirlwind of house tours. Trust me when I say that she is attentive, honest, and truly cares about her clients. We bought a house under very stressful, rushed circumstances with little to no knowledge about real estate, in arguably one of the most brutal times in the bay area market. Mischa worked so hard to make sure we ended up with a house that perfectly suited our needs. And we did not make it easy for her! Despite our tight budget and long wish list, Mischa made it happen. We had so many moments of feeling completely lost, overwhelmed and gutted but Mischa always made time for our questions, concerns and even our tears. Her empathy and guidance was what made our home buying experience possible. She was always patient with us (and our two rambunctious kids that we occasionally had to take with us to house viewings). She's also a virtual encyclopedia of homeownership so I look forward to calling her up for recommendations and advice when we have home projects! If you're looking to buy a house in the Bay Area, I can't recommend Mischa highly enough!

Mischa, The Best Agent.

I’ve known Mischa for 12 years, since she helped me find my first home in 2009.
Mischa is professional, and she has great knowledge about real estate industry and the Bay Area neighborhood. Most of all, she listens to you, and she cares for you. She never pushes you to make any uncomfortable decision. Not only she helps you in any possible way she can, but also she stands by you to see how happy you are with new property.

I met her in 2009, when I stopped by an open house she was hosting. I told her that I wanted to buy a small condo. My expected purchasing price I told her was less than half of my mortgage pre-approval. Not like other agents who pushed me to purchase bigger houses, Mischa took me 2day tour & showed me 20 condos which were in my price range I wanted. I found one I liked & made an offer. Mischa took care of everything else & went smooth. I became a home owner 2months later.

In 2011, she helped me find a commercial property for my business. Again, she took me 2day tour & showed me commercial properties. I found one liked & opened my business. Mischa knows the Bay Area so well & she is great to find a perfect location for business.

In 2020 when Pandemic hit, I was in a situation that I almost lost my business and I had to find another business location to move my business. Due to Pandemic, every process was delayed & I also had lender related problems. I had to go through roller coaster of emotion, having fear of loosing current business. Not only Mischa helped me with her knowledge and purchasing process, she also stood by me & supported me tremendously. When I had to go through MILES of process & uncertainty of Pandemic, she encouraged me to realize we are getting one STEP closer at a time to finishline.
Finally, I got to keep my 1st business, and also able to open 2nd business with commercial real estate purchase, all during the Pandemic! She really made my misery turned into a dream!

I cannot imagine where I could have been, without having Mischa in my life.

My husband and I worked with Mischa for several months this summer to buy our first home - in a very crazy market, in a city we are new to and not familiar with, and in a pandemic no less! Mischa was incredibly helpful, with infinite patience as we looked at dozens houses all over Oakland, Berkeley, Richmond, and El Cerrito and asked endless questions. Not only did Mischa have incredible knowledge of neighborhoods (their history, accessibility to transportation, best grocery stores, school systems, and everything else), but she took us into crawl spaces to look at foundations, explained all sorts of house mechanics to us, could give us rough estimates of cost of various fixes and remodeling projects, and was generally extremely knowledgeable about just about anything we threw at her. She never, ever made us feel rushed, and when we were finally ready to make an offer, she guided us through that process as well and helped us quickly win a house we are very happy with. She's responsive, detailed, and an absolute pleasure. We feel so lucky to have found her and would recommend her to anyone.

We are so lucky we found Mischa as our real estate agent. In a few short months, Mischa helped my husband and me find and buy a home in East Bay, San Francisco. Mischa is a great realtor! She is very responsive, easy going and professional, and very knowledgeable about not only the housing market and home renovations, but neighborhood history, gardening, etc. She has been great with our two young kids as well who we've been schlepping along with us throughout our house hunt. We were working with a modest budget for Bay Area standards and in this market it was tough to find a house that fit our budget and our needs (e.g., safe, family friendly, good school district/diverse, reasonable commute). We were house hunting during Covid once it was safe to do so, and Mischa followed all safety guidelines and made sure we came masked, had signed all the proper paperwork, and provided gloves. Mischa was also extremely helpful after we closed on the house by recommending contractors and giving advice on renovations for our cosmetic fixer. She went above and beyond. It was a pleasure working with Mischa. She's like part of the family and we're looking forward to having her over once we finish our renovations this summer.

My wife and I were first-time home buyers with a lot to learn. We met Mischa through a friend who had recently had a good experience purchasing their first home in Berkeley.

Mischa was incredibly patient with us, ensuring that we were comfortable with the intricacies of the home buying process at each step. In addition to the purchase process, Mischa went above and beyond to coach us on post-purchase planning for maintenance and repair. She is an excellent communicator and did a great job alleviating the stress of home buying (and first-time home ownership) in the Bay Area.

I have had the pleasure of working with Mischa on and off for about 5 years. My wife and I started down the road of selling our house only to change our mind during the process. Mischa was helpful throughout and didn’t pressure us when we changed our mind. We received updates and personal Christmas cards from her in the years that followed. Fast forward and my wife and I decided finally to sell our house and of course we reached out to Mischa. I heard about Mischa through one of my closest friends who bought a house a few years ago. My wife and I had been saving up and had talked to a few agents that we had met through Zillow but we never really felt like they had our best interest in mind.

Working with Mischa has been fantastic! After these last couple of months she has become part of the family. Her knowledge of East Bay neighborhoods, history, local codes, and housing trends has been a valuable gift. Mischa has been flexible, responsive, and patient enough in dealing with our incessant questions and anxieties. What I can't say enough about is her empathy in working with us, 2 people with no generational wealth to speak on, who work at non profits, trying to raise our daughter in a crazy political climate, a pandemic, and housing costs that would normally price out people like us.

Mischa helped us get into a dream house in San Leandro at a price we didn't think was possible. This was only done with her network of contacts. We were able to seal the deal on a house before it went on the market, where we would definitely have been outbid on. During the closing process, Mischa was great at yelling at the lender and helping us navigate escrow and contractors.

Mischa Lorraine spent 3 hours with me, going through a house I was certain was perfect for my husband's and my needs and was ready to jump through hoops to buy. It was big, new, sexy - and expensive. In that time, Mischa also showed me two other comparable homes on the market that were considerably less pricey, and reminded me that I wanted a high walkability neighborhood, which the home I wanted to buy didn't offer.
