Mischa Nicolas

Growing up in a military family, Ben lived in many states and countries before settling down in Southern California. Upon earning a degree in Economics from UCLA in 2001, he joined a family-owned real estate business as a salesperson. He went on to co-found IET Real Estate in 2008 and the rest is history. Ben’s approach to both work and life is marked by a solid work ethic, accountability, and professionalism. When he is not collaborating with clients, he enjoys spending time with family, reading, coaching youth basketball, practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and anything related to maintaining & improving mental & physical fitness.

Ben is licensed by the California Department of Real Estate and the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System. Since 2008 has been the Broker of Record for both IET Real Estate and IET Capital. He has closed over 1000 real estate and loan transactions as a salesperson/loan officer/broker/wholesale rep, and 40+ transactions as a principal. His expertise includes Compliance, Trust Fund Handling, DRE & NMLS Licensing Issues, Best Practices for Liability, and Risk Mitigation. He also has considerable experience in purchasing, selling, financing, renovating & managing long-term and short-term rentals.
