As a first-time homebuyer, there were lots to learn and things to be aware of. Misty is knowledgeable, helpful, and patient. She explained and guided us through the process (which included the pandemic and crazy market!!). She was always available to answer any questions. Always made me feel comfortable asking questions. She is always reachable and responsive. She is honest, as she will point out issues in homes or advise to pass on homes that are not up to par. She truly wants to help her clients find the right home. In addition, there were times where I wasn’t sure if we will find the right home, but she always provided reassurance and positivity. Luckily, it did come to fruition! We purchased our home with Misty’s assistance (didn’t even see the home at first actually, she had to give us a virtual tour at that time, which worked out!) We are now living in the neighborhood that we want! 😊

As an FYA, when we first started looking, we were passive and in no rush. Misty took that into account and never pressured us with our timeline/search. At some point, we definitely wanted to be more aggressive in the search and communicated that to Misty. Misty is flexible with her clients; can take your needs into account. So just make sure you voice what you’re looking for to her and what you’re willing to be flexible with; whether it be the home or buying/selling process. If you’re unsure, that’s fine too, voice that.

"I recently sold my 4-story townhouse in Cameron Station. Misty Faulkner represented me, and I can't begin to say enough about what an excellent realtor she is. I have sold and bought other properties, so I have had a fair amount of experience with realtors and the real estate process. It is no exaggeration to say that Misty was HEAD AND SHOULDERS above any other realtor I have worked with. She is exactly what you want in a realtor: someone who knows the market, is good at analyzing the best path forward, extremely responsive, while also being very friendly and kind while going through what can be a stressful transaction. Misty helped me sell my condo and buy a new home in not only a sellers market, but also a pandemic. She met with me many times throughout the process to walk through the right time to sell, to hunt for the right new neighborhood, and outline all the options for crafting the most competitive offer. She helped me sell my condo over asking price! She never let me settle on a home and ultimately, I ended up under contract on the BEST home for me! Misty is honest and patient and has your best interests at the forefront of all she does. I have trusted her on multiple real estate purchases, and will continue to use Misty as my realtor of choice in the future!
