Mitch Hamel

Mitch brings many years of leadership experience to Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Verani Realty. Mitch has had many years of business management in retail and is past owner of an audio video store as well as a tech repair business.

Not only has Mitch proven to be a leader in his community with roles as former President of Laconia Downtown Association, former President of Lakewood Beach Association, former Chair of Laconia Education Endowment Foundation, Pledge Master and brother of Pi Kappa Alpha at University of New Hampshire, current advisor of non-profit foundation Good Earth, current Commissioner and Chair of Laconia Parks and Rec Commission. He is also serving as a Verani Ambassador and one of the captains of the Verani Reindeer Pub Mania team. Mitch is a Top Producer in his Real Estate career every year since 1995.

He is a native of New Hampshire and Lakes Region and is very knowledgeable with the region’s natural beauty along its lakefront and rural areas and enjoys sharing it with others. He is proud of his two grown sons with one graduating from Providence College currently living and working in Madrid Spain. His other son graduated from St John's University and now living and working in Manhattan. He and his wife are loving caregivers to family members and understand the daily challenges his clients face as he has walked a mile in their shoes. He enjoys travelling and loves the warmer climates and dipping his toes in the water of Mexico and the Caribbean. York Maine is a longtime family favorite too.
