Raised in SE Washington state, I attended Western Washington University, graduating with a degree in Political Science, which my father commented, was a good degree to have when you’re sitting in a bar. Alas, it served me well as I lived in Germany for fourteen years and could hold my own conversing with Germans and their blunt assessments on the state of world politics.

While growing up my family spent many three-day weekends and spring breaks at Mt. Bachelor. I have always loved Bend as it provides the best of both worlds, the dry heat of the desert and beautiful pine forests.

I moved my family to Bend OR, in 2013 to be close to my family, friends, and sunshine!
