Although a Tennessee native, Mondo's early years as the son of a career military veteran led to recurrent moves throughout the country. He arrived in Wilmington in 1995 to attend UNC-Wilmington and graduated in 1998 with a Bachelors degree in Marketing. Upon graduation, Mondo accepted an outside sales position with IKON Office Solutions, selling digital print systems and commercial grade copiers.
After three years with IKON, Mondo decided to pursue a Masters degree in Business Administration. He graduated in 2003 with an MBA from the Cameron School of Business at UNC-Wilmington.
Mondo 's next focus became a career in corporate pharmaceutical sales. Over the past 16 years, he has worked with Dey LP, Boehringer Ingelheim, and AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals as a Respiratory and Cardiovascular Sales Specialist.
Finding great enjoyment and reward from buying/managing his own real estate investment properties in the Wilmington area over the last several years, Mondo chose to make another career shift and obtained his real estate brokers license. His subsequent decision to partner with Intracoastal Realty was equally strategic after researching real estate firms in the area. Mondo came to the ultimate conclusion that Intracoastal Realty's undeniable reputation as the area's leading real estate company would be most conducive to grow his real estate career and help clients realize their goals and dreams. Armed with an extensive marketing and sales background and a company that provides comprehensive support, he is eager to assist his clients and demonstrate how the entire real estate experience can be truly gratifying.
He and wife Cheri enjoy spending time with their 2 sons. In his free time, Mondo enjoys weightlifting, coaching youth sports, and riding his Yamaha RI motorcycle on professional closed circuit road courses throughout the Southeast.
