Morgan is the co-founder of The Schmitz & Smith Group and an Austin native with over 25 years of experience working in the luxury home market. Morgan distinguishes herself as an industry leader in all the ways that our current climate demands.

Morgan’s problem-solver mindset drives her through the unprecedented challenges of doing business during a pandemic and as a result, her clients are winning. Morgan’s hustle and tenacity coupled with her passion for Austin and expertise in the real estate industry gets results in today’s tight market. Her hyper-local focus and her area contacts uncover pre-MLS properties and other unique opportunities. They say knowledge is power and Morgan has it in spades. That combined with her other superpowers of compassion and connection is why she has been creating “clients for life” throughout her career.

Morgan is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring Austin’s outdoor and indoor delights, walking with her dogs and spending time with her nieces. She celebrates a 20-year marriage to her husband Greg who has a rich background in the golf industry and is a partner in Grayhawk Insurance Companies. She began her real estate career in Dallas with Ebby Halliday, one of Dallas’ most popular names in real estate and social society. While with Ebby, Morgan worked in the Cindy O’Gorman Group and The Paulette Greene Group. Both groups continue to win accolades for being the #1 and the #2 Top Producing groups in the metroplex.

Morgan is active in several philanthropic causes and fundraising activities. She is proudest of completing the 60 mile walk to raise money for Susan G Komen Foundation and most recently 40-mile AVON Walks to End Breast Cancer in both New York and Boston.
