Myra Sanders

Myra Sanders believes that Galveston is the type of place that people want to visit and live. With its rich and interesting history, mild climate, beautiful coastal geography, and friendly people, it is a city to call home. A native Texan, Myra was raised in Orange, Texas. As a visitor to Galveston throughout her life, she had always admired this beautiful island. After moving here in 2015, she found out how truly special Galveston is. A love for homes and people helped her make the decision to become a real estate sales agent. After having careers as a respiratory therapist and elementary teacher, she found that she was ready to help people in a different way…finding places for people to make a home or a home-away-from-home. Myra is a member of Coastal Community Church, Galveston Historical Foundation, Galveston Garden Club, and Silk Stocking Historic District Neighborhood Association. She volunteers at the Gulf Health Care Center, Pregnancy Help Center, Moody Neurorehabilitation Institute and Shriners Hospital for Children in Galveston. Myra and husband Alan are parents to Aaron and Holly Sanders of Galveston, Katie and Matt Ralph of Nashville and David and Myranda Sanders of Tyler. They have seven grandchildren whom they enjoy.
