I’ve known Nancy for more than 35 years. She helped our family with two home purchases. Recently, she supported me in the sale of my home of 34 years. She provided excellent referrals to simplify the whole moving process. The actual sale was handled with Nancy’s efficiency and professionalism. It ended up being much easier than I had anticipated. Nancy knows the real estate market and is excellent clarifying all the details involved.

Nancy Shannon is a consummate professional. Drawing on decades of experience, she is knowledgeable in all aspects of residential real estate property buying and selling. She has a keen eye for the “diamond in the rough” and was instrumental in determining my property value. Nancy provided valuable advice, carefully and clearly presenting options, and this carried through to assisting with evaluating the terms of offers received. She always deferred to whatever I thought was the best way to proceed, without pressure or judgement, knowing that I was carefully considering her expert advice. A highlight of Nancy’s support is her extraordinary communication. There was never an instant when I wondered what was happening. Nancy is caring, empathic, and extremely respectful.

Nancy was so wonderful. This was my first time buying and I couldn’t have been happier. Everything about the process was so easy when I have heard of nothing but horrible story’s from others. Nancy is a top-notch realtor in the Portland-metro area. In my view, she is truly a premier agent.

I had the good fortune of being paired with Nancy in 2013 when I began my search for a home in Portland. Nancy took the time to first obtain my interests, likes and dislikes, and general budget. From there, unlike other agents, she found me homes that fit my style and budget. I'm an attorney representing significant clients in Oregon and I did not want to waste my time or hers. She worked diligently, not wasting any time, by forwarding me a good 5 to 10 homes per day that I could perform a drive-by. If I liked the area and home we set appointments to view them.

In 2013, much like 2021, the market was a seller's market and there were bidding wars. After losing out on several homes, and because I trusted Nancy so well, I asked her to do me a favor and visit a home for me while I was out of state attending to a personal family matter. Nancy went to the home, described the interior, exterior, and said this was the one. I trusted her knowledge and experience, and prior work with the seller's agent to authorize her to make an offer while I was away.

The offer was accepted the first time I saw the house was during inspections. Nancy nailed it. The home was an amazing Portland bungalow, well cared for, with potential on a corner lot in a trending neighborhood. Nancy had the experience to know prior to the inspections things I should be on the look out for and, true to form, they were. Her connections in the industry, including contractors, were invaluable. She put me in touch with all the right people for the inspections and repairs and all went smoothly.

Eight years later, Nancy is still helping me with contractor recommendations and advice on the market. My home today is worth so much more because of Nancy's vision and knowledge. I could not have chosen a better qualified real estate agent and I will never choose anyone else.

If you are considering Nancy, stop considering and sign up immediately. She will take care of you as if you are family. Trust me.

Nancy worked with me to sell my house after a couple of previous offers had fallen through. She guided me through every step of the process of making several improvements to my home that resulted in multiple offers above the asking price shortly after the listing went live. Without the depth of real estate knowledge she brought to the process, her relationships with reliable contractors who provided outstanding service, and her guidance through all of the transactions, the experience of selling my home would not have gone anywhere near as smoothly. From our first meeting to discuss selling the house, to the day we signed the papers, Nancy Shannon was a calming presence in every part of the selling process and explained each step along the way. She kept us well informed, was super friendly and obviously really knows her stuff. She did more than we thought a a realtor would do; we especially appreciated how she arranged and met with a couple contractors to obtain quotes on issues relating to the inspection. She made this sale as stress-free as possible and got us a better price than we were even hoping.
