Ever since high school, he wanted to be an entrepreneur. He wanted to build his own business, make his own schedule, and not need to report to anyone. It suited him better than he could have hoped.

In the end, things moved more quickly than he expected. A combination of hard work and good luck brought him to a team he’s proud to be a part of. They’re very community-minded. This year, they had a big Thanksgiving dinner at the Center for Urban Youth and Family Development. They were able to give them two TVs and video game consoles and did a shopping stroll to raise funds. It feels incredible to give back to a community that has given so much to him. One of his favorite transactions was for a couple who were first-time homebuyers. He sent them an HOA bylaw document. It must have been about 110 pages long. They read every line of it. Anything they didn’t entirely understand, they asked him about. It took a long time and a fair amount of patience to walk them through everything, but it ended up being a great experience. He was able to show them (and himself) that he truly understood every element of the transaction. It made closing day mean so much more. They were ecstatic, and he was so happy for them.
