Our journey with Nathan was a wild one. Started with a career change and relocation from NC to PA. My wife and I started looking in PA/ NJ and with closing costs figured no way we can afford a house in PA, so we decided to rent. We secured a rental in Stroudsburg PA, on the night of the move we drove 10 hrs with 2 kids under 2.5 yrs old, two dogs a week worth of clothes and supplies and got to the Stroudsburg house only to find black mold and uninhabitable conditions. The landlord/ realtor were pressing us to remain in the house but we called Nathan( thankfully had him saved in phone) and he walked us through the process of getting out of the lease. So here our journey with Nathan begins, first we started looking at different rental properties and were seeing outrageous prices. Then we figured for this price we can own. Nathan was right along side of us during this journey. We found our forever/ dream home in Lehighton and Nathan made the immediate appointment needed to view the property. We secured the property thanks to Nathan. Nathan took us in like family, even introduced us to our newly formed friendships with some of his other clients. Nathan and I have shared hunting stories and our love for beers/ breweries as the way. Nathan has become family. We are so grateful for him and he was brought into our life from God. Highly recommend Nathan as a true GO GETTER.

We bought a home and sold a home with Nathan. This is our second property and our first time selling. Very complicated as far as we are concerned, however Nathan made it easy. He was very flexible with us through the entire process. I would say that he also went above and beyond the call of duty to help us with everything. Can't say enough good things about Nathan. We had very narrow criteria in buying a home and were far from easy clients, but Nathan stuck with us the whole way. We have now been in our new home for about a month and wake up every morning feeling so beyond fortunate that Nathan helped us find our perfect home. If you are buying from out of state (as we did) or local, you will not find anyone more knowledgable or compassionate. He took our rough idea of what we needed and turned it into a reality. Nathan was truly fantastic. We needed someone to help us find our first investment property. Nathan found us the right places, provided us with a cash flow analysis for each one, and then helped us list it for rent, screen potential tenants, draw up the lease, and a million other little things along the way. Nathan Cheney is - simply put - the BEST real estate agent, and now friend, I have had the chance to work with. He is always the MAN WITH THE PLAN!

From the moment we met, Nathan put his best foot forward, coming well prepared with statistics and information regarding my home and provided comprehensive comparative market analyses similar properties in the area. Being that my house was a single family home in an area which often does not rent out single family homes, we were operating with essentially no real precedence to work off. Nevertheless, he came up with a phenomenal plan of listing based on my relatively dynamic and fluid transitioning situation as even I was unclear on when exactly my move out and last day of living in my prior home would be.

Nathan was - and still is - exceptionally attentive to anll aspects of home buying, selling, and renting. He is readily available to reach and always gave his time to help out. He provided so much information and fine attention to the various aspects of my home prior to listing it, ranging from recommendation of rental insurance plans and specific cleaning services.

Nathan is very sensitive to cost savings in all aspects of the home situation, noting that he reviewed the current state of the home and picked core matters that needed to be addressed (such as certain walls needing repainting or certain holes needing patching) rather than just lump-sum stating every single cosmetic issue needed to be renovated or redone.

Nathan was even there overseeing the day I moved out of my old home!!! He was there at the end of the mover’s wrapping up around 7 pm sure that the movers did a good job getting everything cleared while assessing the post-move state of my home prior to listing it.

Nathan kept me updated on the status of my old home as I was out of state. He was my eyes and ears on all matters in the home transaction process.

Nathan personally helped coordinate a new family to move into my old property, and even to this day past the completion of the rental process checks in and ensures that things are going well for me and provides recommendations on continued optimization of my rental situation.

Overall, I would recommend Nathan Cheney in the HIGHEST regards to anyone in the Lehigh Valley Area or those in the New York/New Jersey/Pennsylvania area looking to buy or list a home for sale/rent. He is a valued comrade that I look forward to continuing chatting with for years to come!
