Ned Ryder

Ned began his career in Real Estate as a realtor in Santa Maria, California before later going on to found Ryder Homes in 1960. In the 1970s, Ned moved the company north, where he built many communities in the Napa and Sonoma counties.
He restarted a Southern California division of Ryder Homes in the 1980s, where he built many communities throughout Palmdale, Victorville, and Moreno Valley. In 1993, he made the decision to close the Southern California Division of Ryder Homes and open a division in Northern Nevada, where Ryder Homes remains today as one of the top builders. Over the course of his career, Ned was responsible for the construction of nearly 7,000 housing units across the states of California and Nevada.


Ned holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of California Los Angeles.
