Nick Aalerud

After graduating from Saint Anselm College in Manchester, NH, Nick Aalerud began his investing career as a banker for BNY Mellon Financial. While dealing with mutual funds, stocks, and bonds, and observing the market closely, Nick began to see the value of investing in real estate and the many advantages it has over the traditional financial markets.

Nick sought further education in real estate investing and started AA Real Estate Enterprises as a real estate acquisition firm in 2005, with the goal of assisting distressed homeowners while providing safe, affordable living for prospective tenants and homebuyers. Expanding the focus of the company to include wholesaling, rehabbing, new construction, rental properties, and short sale mitigation, AARE has since completed over $70 million in closed real estate transactions, including more than 300 rehabs and rebuilds with multiple active projects currently in process, and owned/managed over 1,000 rental units in New England, Pennsylvania and Florida.
