Nick Thompson

Nick Thompson is a native of Atlanta and a graduate of both Dunwoody high school and Elon University, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in Business, with an emphasis in finance. Nick was also selected as the MVP of the Elon University baseball team and drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies playing professional baseball for three seasons. After baseball, Nick became a licensed real estate professional in 2001. Nick has extensive experience in real estate brokerage representing clients in sales, purchases, development, and consulting. He has completed numerous transactions, resulting in over $40 million in total volume. Nick was elected to public office for two terms as a City Councilman and Mayor Pro Tem from 2003-2009 for the City of Sugar Hill in Gwinnett county. His background gives him a unique insight and understanding of land use, zoning codes and the procurement of entitlements. Additionally, he is a founding member of the Sugar Hill Downtown Development Authority; wherein public/private redevelopment partnerships are in active development today. He is currently an associate broker with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Georgia Properties in Suwanee Georgia.
