About Nicole
Nicole, Joan’s daughter, began her full-time career in real estate in 1999. The same year she graduated from Towson University in Baltimore MD, with a Mass Communications Degree. During her first few years in the business, Nicole also went to school in the evenings to obtain a Master of Business Administration degree from Frostburg State University.
In keeping with family values, education is also very important to Nicole, and she went on to obtain her GRI (Graduate, Realtor Institute) and CHMP (Certified in Historical Maryland Properties) designations. Nicole is also an alumnus of the Maryland Association of Realtors Leadership Academy, class of 2004.
Nicole has a strong belief in giving back to her community as well as her local trade association The Frederick County Association of Realtors. She has served on a number of committees over the years and has been the chairperson for many of the committees as well. Nicole served on the board of directors for a year before, moving up the chain of command. In 2009, she was installed as The Frederick County Association of Realtors President at the age of 29 (the youngest person serving in this role in the history of FCAR). After serving two consecutive terms as President as well as a one-year term as Past President at the local level, Nicole began serving on the board of directors at the State level. She served two terms as an At-Large BOD member for the Maryland Association of Realtors and just finished serving as a President-Elect appointee on the executive committee for the 2013-2014 year. This position took Nicole to Annapolis once or twice a month for meetings as well as allowed her to be up to date on many issues concerning the real estate industry!
Throughout the years, Nicole has been awarded with some of the highest honors from FCAR, to include: being a two time recipient of the Jane Henderson Memorial Award which honors an individual who has shown spirit and enthusiasm for working on educational programs; The Distinguished Sales Associate Award for activities at the local and state level in the real estate industry, education designations and involvement in FCAR activities; The Hall of Fame Award for making significant contributions to the image of the real estate professional through hard work, ethics and dedication; and Realtor of the Year which honors an individual for outstanding service to the association, industry and community. Nicole was also a nominee for Realtor of the Year at the state level in 2011.
Nicole’s passion for the real estate industry shines not only in all that she has given back to her local and state associations, but with her clients as well. She is committed to giving the highest and best service to her clients and meeting their needs. Communication and honesty are top priorities for Nicole in all that she does.
When Nicole is not at work or volunteering in the real estate industry, she keeps busy with her husband, three children and a Goldendoodle. She has become active at St. John Regional Catholic School where her children are students. She can also be seen on the sidelines watching her sons play ice hockey and her daughter practice karate!
