Licensed in 1978, Nita began her career in Maryland and eventually opened her own company. Later, Nita joined a national real estate company as office manager and relocation director. After moving to Georgia in 1991, Nita continued her career in real estate, earning numerous state and local awards including being ranked within the Top Ten in the state of a national company, member of the Year (Sales and Marketing Council), Life Member-Circle of Excellence Club, President's Club and Chairman's Circle.

Nita serves as a director on the Builders Association of Metro Augusta and the Sales and Marketing Council. She is a member of several local community organizations including the Columbia County Chamber of Commerce and involves herself in local, state and national issues when affecting this industry.
