People who have known me for a long time are not surprised that I am a REALTOR®. My friends tease me about how many homes I have personally bought and sold over the years. I know that my family is glad that I am helping other people buy and sell houses instead of pursuing this passion as an expensive hobby. I feel lucky to be able to do what I love for other people- buy and sell houses.
Although I grew up in San Angelo, Texas, I am now proud to call Mississippi home after living here for the last 25 years. I received a bachelors and masters degree in business from Millsaps College with an emphasis in finance and marketing. After graduating, I have worked as a tennis professional at the Vicksburg Country Club, as a direct marketing manager at a software company called Datastream, and finally as an middle school language arts teacher in the public schools. In each one of these areas, I developed skill sets that help me satisfy my high expectations of giving my clients the best service possible.
My family is a very active and happy part of the Madison City community. Both of my children graduated from Madison Central. My daughter played tennis for MC while my son was part of last years' 6A Madison Central state championship soccer and tennis teams. Lauren is at Millsaps College where she is graduating with a business degree, and William is an engineering major at Mississippi State. My husband, Wayne, is a financial planner with Edward Jones. We are also members of Madison Methodist Church.
In my spare time, I continue to be involved in the tennis community in Jackson. I play in the Jackson League Tennis Association as well as for several United States Tennis Association state, sectional, and national teams. In addition, I involved with the Madison Chamber of Commerce and help with the area Humane Societies.
