Pat Groves was slow to embrace real estate as a career option. In fact, she was a stay-at-home mom for 12 years, worked in retail for 5 years, nursing home accounting, schooling and then in the corporate world! Her daughter/partner, being in the sales herself, finally convinced her to try it. Already in her 50’s, studying for a new career was challenging but rewarding.

Pat certainly has the right stuff, and she has earned most of it the hard way. Her life is a tribute to what can be accomplished when challenges are met head-on, and one refuses to give up. As a young mother, Pat learned about the importance of dependability and doing the right thing. Pat was given up for adoption at the age of two and lived in foster homes before being adopted at the age of six. Pat has overcome many challenges in her years. Pat has been married now for over 38 years and has 5 grandchildren.

While it has not always been easy, Pat feels blessed for each and every experience. It taught her many lessons about what is important. A devoted wife, mother, daughter and sister, family is at the top. In fact, her family is what keeps her motivated. Since having grandchildren, she keeps them spoiled with a few of their favorite things.

Always "on the go", Pat leads a highly active life. Whether in her real estate business or financial analyst, she feels a duty to serve others. As her professional success grows, so does the demand on her time. Pat is also a member of the Southern Indiana Chamber of Commerce and New Neighbors of Southern Indiana.

Upholding the highest standards of customer service to clients, while maintaining a caring and loving home life is not easy; striving for balance is often a challenge. But challenges are nothing new to Pat Groves; they keep her energized each day and passionate about the future.

Pat has years of experience in the business world. She has been a Senior Financial Analyst for Providian, AEGON & then 10 years at Humana. She obtained her real estate license and joined Schuler Bauer in 2005, entering the business as a part-time agent while working full time as a Financial Analyst at Humana. Success came quickly as she achieved over 1.4 million in sales volume in her first year. Pat's business continues to grow and has been an award winner each year since she started.
