Pat Owen

Pat moved to Brea in 1995, and he has been an important and contributing member of the Brea community ever since. He loves the city and is eager to show prospective buyers why they will also love it. While his children were growing up, he was very actively involved with them. He could often be seen at all of their sporting events, school plays, field trips, awards ceremonies, teacher conferences, back-to-school nights, and just about anything they were ever participating in!

As a coach, he has worked with several youth sports teams, including Brea Little League, Brea Girls Softball, Brea NJB Girls Basketball, as well as his daughter Kayla's club volleyball team, formerly known as Brea Volleyball Club and more recently known as Precision Volleyball Club. Kayla excelled on the Brea Olinda High School Varsity volleyball team and played her last club season with the very prestigious Impact Volleyball Club. He has also served on the Board Of Directors for Brea Girls Softball.

Pat was a veteran Brea NJB and All-Net Basketball coach for his son, Jake, and his buddies. In 2006, his 7th and 8th-grade boy's basketball team won the Brea NJB League championship and the All-City Tournament championship. After that season ended, he was selected to coach the 8th-grade All-Star team, which went all the way to the NJB National Champions Tournament. Along the way, they won both the Sectional Tournament championship and the Regional Tournament championship. After the All-Star season was over, he kept the team together by entering the All-Net Summer League and went on to win the Division Championship. Needless to say, this was a season to remember!

Pat firmly believes that a successful person must find a way to give back to the community. Therefore, he befriended the Easter Seals Organization and has been an active committee member on several of their fundraising projects dating all the way back to 1991. He was the co-founder of the Annual Century 21 Easter Seals Casino night. Along with his dear friend, Laurie MacIsaac-Federico, they watched the event grow from a couple of hundred to as many as 600 plus people filling up the Grand Ballroom on the Queen Mary! He has met several of the people in their area who have benefited from the millions of dollars that they have helped raise. "He cannot describe the incredibly warm feeling that burns inside of him."

Pat was a member of the Century 21 system from 1990 to 2014 and was consistently in the top rankings both statewide and nationwide. In 1995, he was honored to be in the Top Ten in the entire region. In 1997, he was inducted into the Century 21 Masters Hall Of Fame. Pat earned the prestigious Double Centurion Award in 2004, 2005, and 2007. In 2008, he had his best year ever by earning the coveted Grand Centurion award and ranked #4 in the entire United States out of over 100,000 Century 21 agents!
