Pate Foshee

Born and raised in Jacksonville, Pate formed Castlerock Realty LLC in 2002 to focus on commercial brokerage. The group was successful in raising a private equity fund in June 2010 to invest in and rehabilitate distressed residential properties (Corner Lot Investments, LLC).

Prior to starting Castlerock Realty, Pate had spent the previous five years working as a commercial real broker at Grubb & Ellis/Phoenix Realty Group, Inc. in Jacksonville. Pate began his career in 1983 joining the family construction business, where he became a state-certified Building Contractor in 1984. From 1986 through 1996, Pate worked in the real estate management group for Independent Life Insurance Group.

As Treasurer, his responsibilities included commercial lending, the loan servicing of a $450 million loan portfolio, and the asset management of a $35 million residential and commercial REO Portfolio. The company was acquired in 1996 by American General.
